WELCOME TO TYDU VALE CAMPING

Tydu Vale Caravan & Camping Park is located on the edge of a quiet tranquil wooded valley just 200 metres walk to the beach. Rey's family has owned run the static caravan site next door since the 1950's and are now offering traditional camping pitches for tents and 6 grass pitches with electric for small camper vans. 

 

Seaside award winning Cwmtydu beach is also known as ‘Seals Bay’, seals nurse their pups in the protection of this secluded cove during September and October. Situated between Fishguard and Aberystwyth in Cardigan Bay on the Ceredigion coastline in west Wales. If you fancy a spot of dolphin spotting this is the place, walking, rambling, fishing, swimming, or just fancy a nice easy stroll down to the beach, under 200 metres away, coastal cliff paths and woodland walks on the doorstep. If you want to get away from it all then this is the place to come, lose yourself in nature. This beautiful coastal wooded valley with its meandering streams and gurgling rivers has a profusion of wildflowers and wildlife, many areas under the protection of the National Trust. Once frequented by the famous Hampstead set and the likes of Lloyd George, this is Dylan Thomas country, this place has inspired many poets and it’s no wonder!

New Quay harbour town with plenty of pubs and restaurants is just a 10 minute drive or you can walk 4 miles there via the coastal path, if you want a totally secluded beach you will find beaches on the way to New Quay, especially at low tide, these are accessible by foot or boat only. Nearby Llangrannog beach and pubs and restaurants are approx 4 miles along the coast towards Cardigan, you can do the coastal walk here too.
